Spi Ouest-France 2005: régate voile - La Trinité sur Mer

Participating in the Spi Ouest France Regatta was undoubtedly a fantastic experience. The friendly and welcoming village of La Trinite Sur Mer fills with sailors from all over the world. It was with great enthusiasm that I met Jean-Luc Van den Heed, whose presence confirms the high level of preparation and experience of the skippers. There are moments that will live forever in me: one of them is leaving the marina with 500 vessels - a huge line of boats until out of sight. Aboard the ambience was always very good, Bernardo Queiroz is an excellent sailor, who taught us a lot, and knew also how to manage the team, in order to keep us motivated and always prepared. Whatever the result, would be, I’ll always feel like I won simply because I participated in an event such as this, as part of a fantastic team where every day was physically demanding but tremendously enjoyable.
